A 33 year old woman was arrested for the hit and run accident that took the life of my friend, Abrahan's mom. I'm glad, honestly, but I'm sad. Lives are destroyed and forever changed and not much can be done about it. Abrahan now have no parents left. I am basically at a loss for words.

:[ The world can be such an ugly place. I know it doesn't bring anyone back from the dead, or comfort someone who is w/o parents.. but hopefully she spends the rest of her life behind bars.
I agree. I was worried that it would drive him and his sister crazy about who was responsible for it. I know I would have wondered if every person I encountered could have been the culprit.
Closure is so necessary in the grieving process. It's a small consolation but I hope it brings some peace to Abrahan.
